Female English Mastiff and active dam in the breeding program. Weighs approximately 190 lb. Produces litters with champion Otis. Health-tested with normal OFA heart, patella and thyroid results and negative genetic tests for cystinuria type 3, CMR1, DM and PRA-d.
Cletus is our foundation stud and the heart of the program. Registered as GCH CH Deer Creek's Cletus II, he was whelped August 12, 2021, an apricot male with the calm, steady temperament we build everything around. He carries his Grand Champion title alongside a full set of health clearances. Health testing: CHIC #201069. OFA hips Good, elbows normal, eyes cleared, cardiac normal by a cardiologist, patella normal and thyroid normal. DNA clear for PRA, CMR1, degenerative myelopathy and hyperuricosuria, and homozygous normal for cystinuria type 3. Sire: Japeth Urbano Gustav Goodwin. Dam: Challenge of K-Mastiffs Three. His pedigree carries Greiner Hall, Achates, Redbarns and TR2C lines.
Otis is a brindle male registered as Deer Creek's Otis, whelped October 5, 2022, and carries his Champion title. He weighs roughly 250 lb and is one of our own — a Cletus son out of our Claire Bear, bred here at Deer Creek. Health testing: normal heart, patella and thyroid results, and clear for cystinuria type 3, CMR1, degenerative myelopathy and PRA-d. Sire: GCH CH Deer Creek's Cletus II. Dam: Deer Creek's Claire Bear. He is an active sire in our program and available for stud service.
Bonnie is a fawn girl registered as CH Bebbanburg Better at Runnin Than Robbin @DeerCreek, whelped December 9, 2024. She won Best of Breed at the AKC Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club on August 25, 2025. She is a littermate sister to our Clyde and came to us from Lisa Renee Brownfield. Sire: Uhtred Toby Brownfield. Dam: Majestics Stiorra River.
CJ is a Champion and has completed full health testing. Although he was found to be infertile and will not be part of our breeding program, he has gone on to bigger and better things. CJ is now a certified therapy dog for complex environments, where his steady temperament and gentle nature allow him to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. We are incredibly proud of him and all he continues to accomplish.

Ryder is a laid-back, sweet fawn boy who turns two in January. Registered as Deer Creek's Leader of the Pack at Cedar Hill, he is major pointed and needs just one more major win to finish his championship. We are very proud of this gentle guy and are excited to welcome his first puppies soon. Sire: Wolfecreeks Big Sexy Dexter. Dam: Stark's Calliope June. His pedigree is built on Wolfecreek and Spearhead lines, which gives us a true outcross to our Cletus-based dogs.
Casey is a fawn girl registered as Deer Creek's Casey, whelped March 23, 2023. She is a daughter of our GCH CH Deer Creek's Cletus II and is the dam of Winnie, by Clarence. Health testing: CHIC #222525. Sire: GCH CH Deer Creek's Cletus II. Dam: Kings Polly.
Clyde is a fawn male registered as Bebbanburg Money Now, Love Later at Deer Creek, whelped December 9, 2024. He came to us from Lisa Renee Brownfield and is a littermate brother to our Bonnie. He is being shown and is a complete outcross to our Cletus line. Sire: Uhtred Toby Brownfield. Dam: Majestics Stiorra River.
Annie is an apricot female English Mastiff and a daughter of GCH CH Deer Creek's Cletus II. At only six months old, she earned a five-point major at her very first show—an exceptional beginning to her show career.
Brutus is a big, easygoing apricot male registered as Deer Creeks Brutus Lee, whelped October 21, 2020. He has sired several of our past litters and continues to be available for stud service. Health testing: CHIC #203083. OFA hips Good, elbows normal, eyes normal, cardiac normal, patella normal and thyroid normal. DNA clear for canine multifocal retinopathy, degenerative myelopathy, hyperuricosuria and progressive retinal atrophy. Sire: TEOC's Dare to Dream Big. Dam: Coppertops Sydney the Sweetheart. His pedigree brings in Sherwood, Cedarhill, Lazy D and Coppertop lines, including the English import Morganlefay's Just Wicked.
Toby is a brindle male registered as Deer Creek's Should've Been a Cowboy, whelped September 4, 2024. He is bred here at Deer Creek — a Cletus son out of our Coal — and carries the heavy bone and easy temperament we look for. Sire: GCH CH Deer Creek's Cletus II, CHIC #201069. Clarence is a brindle male registered as Deer Creek's Clarence, whelped September 16, 2022. He is an active sire in our program and the father of Winnie, out of Casey. Sire: Luper's And He Walks With Me. Dam: Nova Dawn of Romeo Acres.
Molly is a large, beautiful brindle girl with the sweetest temperament. She loves everything and everybody.
Winnie is a young girl registered as Deer Creek's Braver Than You Believe. She is out of our Casey and Clarence, which makes her a granddaughter of Cletus.
Grizzly is a brindle male English Mastiff who is expecting a litter with Della in October 2026. He has completed genetic health testing with clear results, and his heart and eyes are OFA certified. Additional health testing is ongoing.
Della is a fawn female English Mastiff and a daughter of our Grand Champion Cletus.
Deer Creek’s Claire Bear “Claire” was far more than a beloved Mastiff—she was the heart of our family and, alongside Cletus, the foundation of our breeding program. Claire and Cletus shared an extraordinary bond, and together they gave us a remarkable litter of 16 puppies, including Clara and Champion Otis. Tragically, we lost Claire unexpectedly due to complications following her C-section. Her loss left an emptiness that words can never fully express. Although her time with us was far too short, Claire’s legacy continues through Clara, Otis, and the many Deer Creek dogs descended from them. We see pieces of her in their beauty, strength, gentle temperaments, and devotion. Claire was deeply loved, is dearly missed, and will forever hold a special place in our hearts and in the story of Deer Creek Mastiffs.
